Cardamom Latte #drinks #latte

I'm typically a quite direct espresso lady. Generally frosted. Continuously with a touch of sweetness with sugar or basic syrup and, if it's hot or straight frosted espresso, a sprinkle of milk. That is it. So when "extravagant" drinks are offered on the menu, I more often than not read them out of intrigue and request my go to. That was until cardamom begun showing up on the claim to fame drink menus. At that point I couldn't help it. A cardamom latte sounds too extravagant, however it's in reality clear and doesn't include any undesirable sugars or fat to your espresso.

Cinnamon is such a natural flavor to me that I was eager to "taste" cardamom in no different dishes and began including it upon event. It isn't sweet itself, however it is so effectively matched with sweet seasons you nearly think it is (much the same as cinnamon). In this cardamom latte, it's a perfect increase in flavor to the coffee and milk without making your espresso overpowering or a pastry (as such a large number of uncommon espresso beverages seem to be).

Once in a while with lattes, I also need somewhat less milk, so I can taste the espresso more OR in case I'm getting a charge out of it with sustenance. I regularly request cappuccinos for simply this reason. On the off chance that you cherish the cardamom latte flavor profile yet need a littler beverage or need that more grounded espresso season, don't hesitate to modify the amount as vital. It is your beverage all things considered!

A scrumptious, custom made cardamom latte is the ideal answer for spicing up your morning espresso or an end of the week treat. This beverage is shockingly basic and brimming with heaps of delectable flavor!

Ingredients
  • 2 to 4 shots of espresso
  • 2 teaspoons of honey or more to taste, warmed
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons ground cardamom
  • Extra ground cardamom for garnish

Instructions
  1. Whisk together the espresso and warm honey in a heatproof measuring cup with a pour spout. Pour an equal amount of the sweetened espresso into each of two serving mugs.
  2. Whisk the milk and the cardamom together and then froth and heat the milk using a milk frother. If your frother doesn’t have a heating mechanism simply warm the milk in the microwave before adding the cardamom, 30 to 45 seconds on high, until it reaches your desired temperature.
  3. Pour the frothed milk into the mugs with the espresso. Sprinkle with ground cardamom before serving.
